Wishlists: the on-store retargeting tool you’re not using
Why we treat wishlists as a first-party retargeting channel, not a UX nicety.

Most stores treat wishlists as a UX nicety. They’re actually a first-party retargeting channel that nobody is using well.
The pattern
- Capture wishlist add as a customer event.
- Sync to Klaviyo as a custom property.
- Trigger a flow: 3 days later, 7 days later, sale-on-wishlist-item.
The unlock
Sale-on-wishlist-item flows convert at 18–24% on average. Your retargeting platform of choice will struggle to beat first-party intent data.
Wishlists are intent. Treat them like clicks.
